“With more innovations happening, Home Depot revenue in the latest quarter…. rose 25%…..!”………The Wall Street Journal, February 24, 2021

Listening closely to a Zoom-based Peer Group discussion today…it was impossible to not hear ……key phrases….

“A previous customer…. called me last week….. project should be over $25,000…….going into Texas….”

And…..

“They didn’t ask for a price…. before sending us the specs…..P.O…..and asking for a commitment on delivery……!”

And….

— “We’ve just gotten a beginning set of orders for a mattress chain…(then…on questioning)….they’ve got 40 stores needing targeted, personalized direct mail…and big wall-to-wall signage… throughout each store….to feed customers’  imaginations….”

And…

“Fleets that were on restricted budgets… now suddenly want their updated Vehicle Graphics…yesterday…..!”

And

“Retail…. is practically… on fire……!”

SUMMARY:

Market conditions are changing faster than you may be able to (re)act.

  1. Customers… are getting vaccinated…by the tens of 1,000’s….!

  2. “Positive” — “Virus Test Results” – are dropping… like a rock….

  3. Schools… are opening-up….(Thank God…!)

  4. Restaurants… night spots…weekend getaways….are… opening-up….

  5. Malls …have traffic….and want customers to know what’s on special.

And….

Who you talked to… last week….has a different opinion… today… re. what they want to accomplish….NOW….!
