In my own perspective of life, working conditions, and even how the universe works, this diagram illustrates that a healthy tension requires feedback for stability, development, and ongoing resilience. This diagram illustrates relationships, how the plants stay in equilibrium with the sun in their orbits, and even the development of human skills and talent. Without ongoing feedback entropy develops, and equilibrium is lost. And as a final important example, social psychology tells us that a personal relationship that is too one-sided most likely cannot be sustained.
