Searching and exploring photos shared by other is a snap and is driven by networks of key word tags, groups and people. But be aware, Flickr does not claim to manage copyrights. The veracity of ownership of photos discovered on this site is as good as the individual (whoever that is) who loaded them. Still, it is an excellent place to share your photos as well as find photos and ideas for more informal purposes.

www.riya.com Riya is a visual search engine for digital photos. You can browse, search and help tag (categorize) other photos as well as upload and tag your own photos. Riya claims to "look inside the image, not only at the text around it" to index and categorize their photos.
